Emergency payments instantly controlled

Give your drivers immediate liquidity when it matters most — without the misuse risks of credit cards. The Assist Card ERS keeps your fleet moving with purpose-bound, on-demand top-ups and full real-time spend control.

The real cost of unresolved emergencies

Every day, transport companies lose time, money, and driver trust because they lack a reliable way to handle unexpected costs on the road.

  • Vehicles blocked at checkpoints

Police inspections abroad result in fines or fees that must be paid on the spot. Without immediate liquidity, trucks are immobilised — causing delivery delays, penalties, and cascading operational disruption.

  • Credit cards create misuse risks

Traditional company credit cards give drivers open spending access with no purpose restriction. The result is uncontrolled costs, loss exposure, and finance teams chasing transactions after the fact.

  • Drivers forced to pay out of pocket

When no company payment option exists, drivers pre-finance fines, repairs, and fees privately. This damages trust, creates HR issues, and makes it harder to retain experienced drivers

Guaranteed mobility in critical situations

When a driver faces a fine, fee, or emergency abroad, every hour of downtime costs money. The Assist Card provides instant, purpose-bound liquidity so the situation is resolved on the spot — no waiting for approvals, no searching for a cash machine, no blocked vehicles.

  • Immediate funds available within minutes
  • Works at any Visa-accepting point worldwide
  • Prevents delivery delays and downtime penalties

Full financial control, zero misuse risk

Unlike company credit cards with open spending limits, the Assist Card carries a zero balance by default. Funds are loaded only when needed, only in the exact amount required, and only for a defined purpose. Fleet managers stay in control before the transaction happens — not after.

  • Zero balance until a top-up is triggered
  • Amount and purpose defined per transaction
  • Real-time visibility in the management portal

Digital emergency process, less admin

Replace cash envelopes, expense reports, and manual reimbursements with a fully digital workflow. The fleet manager loads the card remotely, the driver pays, and every transaction is logged automatically. Less paperwork for finance, faster support for drivers.

  • No cash handling or manual reimbursement
  • Every transaction logged and traceable
  • Drivers feel supported, improving retention

When your drivers need it most

The Assist Card ERS is designed for the situations that can't wait — the unplanned moments on the road where immediate payment is the difference between moving and standing still.

  • Police fines and official fees

A routine inspection abroad turns into a standstill when a fine must be paid on the spot. The Assist Card gives drivers the means to settle immediately and get back on the road.

  • Cash lost or stolen

When a driver's cash is lost or stolen mid-route, there's no fallback. A quick top-up to the Assist Card restores their ability to cover essentials without delay.

  • Deposits and security bonds

Border crossings, vehicle impounds, or facility access can require unexpected deposits. The Assist Card handles these payments instantly, avoiding costly hold-ups.

How it works

From emergency to resolution in minutes. The Assist Card ERS keeps the process simple for fleet managers and drivers alike.

  1. Step 01

    Driver reports an emergency

A driver on the road encounters an unexpected cost — a police fine, a breakdown, a required deposit. They contact the fleet manager through the usual channel.

  2. Step 02

    Fleet manager loads the amount

Through the Card Management Web App, the fleet manager tops up the driver's Assist Card with the precise amount needed. No open credit line, no excess funds — just what's required.

  3. Step 03

    Driver pays on the spot

The driver uses the Assist Card at any Visa-accepting point worldwide. The payment goes through immediately, the situation is resolved, and the vehicle is back on the road.

  4. Step 04

    Full visibility, complete control

Every transaction is logged in real time. The fleet manager sees what was paid, where, and when — no chasing receipts, no expense reports, no surprises at month end.

Credit card vs. Assist Card ERS

Have more questions

How quickly can funds be loaded onto the Assist Card?

Top-ups are processed in real time. Once a fleet manager initiates a load through the Card Management Portal, the funds are available on the driver's card within minutes — ready to use immediately at any Visa point of sale.

Where is the Assist Card accepted?

The Assist Card works anywhere Visa is accepted — worldwide, with no geographic restrictions.

What happens if a driver's Assist Card is lost or stolen?

The Card can be blocked instantly through the Card Management Portal by the fleet manager. Because the Assist Card carries a zero balance by default — funds are only loaded when needed — a lost or stolen card has no available balance to misuse.

Is there a maximum amount that can be loaded per transaction?

The fleet manager or a previously designated authorised person has full control over the limits that may be set for each individual card. The card limits can set to 0 and later be changed by the authorised person.
